F DISTRICT - Shots fired Glen Road Coalisland
Detectives are appealing for information following a report of shots being fired at a house in the Glen Road area of Coalisland yesterday morning, Saturday 28th January.
Shortly after 7.35am it was reported that two shots had been fired at the bedroom window of a residential property in the area. Damage was caused to the window of the property. No one was injured during this incident. Two men believed involved in the incident then attempted to hijack a car in the area before making off on foot.
A short time later a 35 year old man was assaulted in the Glen Road by three unknown males. The man received a head injury in the assault and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Anyone who has any information about the incident or who seen anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact Detectives at Dungannon Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
