2007 Pay Negotiations - Update from Chairman 2 August 2007

Further to my previous communiqué I wish to advise our membership of the following:-

The Independent Chair of the Police Negotiating Board (P.N.B.), Mr John Randall, has now advised Staff Side of his intentions in respect of conciliation on the 2007 Pay Negotiations.

He said:

"I have concluded that there is a sufficient prospect of progress to warrant a Conciliation Meeting taking place."

To this end the Independent Chair has arranged a Conciliation Meeting to take place on the 15th August 2007.

I will keep you advised of developments.
