The Police Federation for Northern Ireland represents 9000 male and female Police Service of Northern Ireland officers inclusive of all ranks, from Constable to Chief Inspector, also including 550 Full-Time Reserve Constables and 800 Police Officers Part Time

The Police Federation is a representative body, similar to a Trade Union but without the right to resort to industrial action.

Our statutory remit is 'Welfare and Efficiency'.
