Nigel Lindsay - Vice Chairman PFNI June 2006 - Present

Nigel Lindsay joined the Royal Ulster Constabulary in March 1981 and has served mainly in Urban Region. He is currently a Sector Commander in Strandtown, Belfast.

First elected to No.2 Regional Board as a Sergeants' Representative in 1995, he became an Inspectors' Representative in No.1 Regional Board in 1998. Nigel has served on Central Committee since 2001 and became Vice-Chairman in June 2006.

His Federation experience includes the following:

  • Trustee for Northern Police Convalescent Home;
  • Chairman, Training, Promotions and Personnel Sub Committee;
  • Has served on Constitution, Legislation and Discipline Sub Committee;
  • Member of Pay, Pensions and Allowances Sub Committee;
  • Deputy at Police Negotiating Board;
  • PFNI Representative on PSNI Examinations Board.
