The Federation - Regions

No. 3 Regional Board

This was another year of change with new members again joining the Board due to members transferring to other areas and retiring from the Police Service. The Region would like to express its thanks to its outgoing members for their hard work and dedication.

During 2007 this Regional Board continued to strive to address the concerns of the membership and held regular meetings with Senior Management Teams to discuss local grievances and Health and Safety concerns.

The Board brought major concerns of the local membership in relation to pay and allowances to the attention of the Federation Central Committee and strongly urged action to resolve the impasse with the Home Secretary and NIO.

The Board members continue to improve their knowledge and look forward to joint training with Personnel Branch in the future.
