PRIVATE HEALTH SCHEME
(Serving Members)
The Federations own in house private health scheme is underwritten each year by one of the large private health companies. Medical History is required except for children within 3 months of date of birth. Each renewal, everyone is carried over to the next company automatically. All correspondence by way of claims etc come through the Federation Office, Garnerville, for onward transmission. This brings private health care to your door step and provides access to medical attention more speedily than the N.H.S. In view of the new sickness regulations this could be important - even for you!

The rates equate to a substantial reduction on what one would pay in the outside market for the overall package that is provided.
RETIRED MEMBERS
The Federation Staff will write to you shortly before retirement and, if you want to continue, arrangements will be made to have premiums collected from your bank and in view of the fact that premiums must be continuous it is important to address your ongoing membership promptly. As before, all your correspondence passes through the Federation Office, Garnerville
Retired members can remain in the scheme at our membership rates until the end of the year they attain 65 years of age. After that, they will be offered a discount on the companies current rates.
