Additional H3 Benefits

Additional H3 Benefits

4 years ago Members News

I write to inform you of some positive developments and additional benefits now available on the PFNI Healthcare Scheme.

Earlier this year we introduced the virtual GP service, available 24/7 365 days per year for rapid access to a UK GP via phone or video consultation - H3GP. If you haven’t already downloaded the app on your phone, do it today, you never know when you might need it.

The GP can provide private prescriptions*, either delivered to your door or to a chemist of your choice for collection. This service is available to all members, including spouses and dependents named on your membership certificate.

To further enhance the H3GP service, we are also introducing a Holistic Health service, available by phone to all members over 18, to provide advice and guidance on Emotional Wellbeing and Aches and Pains.

The Emotional Wellbeing service is designed to help you cope effectively and proactively with life’s challenges, during the call the adviser will listen to your concerns and provide helpful advice, coping strategies and signposting resources to support you in maintaining better emotional stability.

Aches & Pains has been developed to provide you with proactive, preventative advice and self-help to fortify your physical health and reduce the risk of minor problems becoming more serious. During the 30-minute assessment the Adviser will try to understand the specific nature of the problem and offer appropriate advice and, where beneficial, signposting to useful resources and information, such as links to home-exercise videos which can help you take better care of your body and prevent issues developing or worsening.

H3GP and Holistic Health services are entirely confidential and do not affect any excess or outpatient benefit allowances available to you through your membership of the healthcare scheme.

We plan to introduce additional benefits to further enhance the scheme in the coming months and we look forward to writing to you with details on these.

Further information on these additional benefits can be found here>
