PFNI welcomes additional Brexit funding but says it needs to be kept under review
2 years ResourcesThe Police Federation for Northern Ireland (PFNI) is calling for certainty, direction and clarity around Brexit and what it will mean for policing in Northern Ireland after March next year.
2 years ResourcesThe PFNI was asked by the ‘Belfast Telegraph’ to comment on the Budget announced for Northern Ireland Departments. It described the allocation to the Department of Justice as ‘meagre’, warned of impacts on Officers and called on Ministers to re-think the decision.
2 years ResourcesThe Chairman of the PFNI Mark Lindsay is warning that services cannot be maintained if the PSNI is expected to 'do more with less'. He made his comments in an article which appeared in the Irish News on 19th February 2018 which claimed that plans had been made to cut up to 15% from some areas of the PSNI budget.
