The scheme is currently open to all serving and retired Officers up to the end of the year they reach the age of 65. Children are also included in the family rate up to the end of the year they reach the age of 21. However, if they are pursuing a full-time course of study within the U.K., they may continue on their parents registration up to the end of the year they reach 25 years of age. The Private Health Schemes premiums are dependent on the age of the lead member.
