Holiday Pay Tribunal Update - 8th November 2018

We have received Counsels opinion on the Holiday Pay  Judgement which answers the following queries in regards to the Working Time Regulations NI 2016, three month reference period and thus the retrospective element;

Retired Members

Retired Officers cannot bring claims unless they have retired from a post as a Constable or a Sergeant within the last three months and worked regular overtime.

Inspectors and above

Those officers promoted beyond Sergeant cannot bring claims unless they have been promoted within the last three months and worked regular overtime as a Sergeant.

Submission of New Claims

New claims can be submitted at this time by elligible members who have not yet claimed.  Those who have previously submitted claims should not re-apply.
